Since the kick-off of the project, several teachers and care teachers in VTI Menen have been testing the chatbot Mizou.com in the classroom. Several approaches have been implemented.
A care teacher used Mizou to help students who have not yet mastered the technical vocabulary of woodworking. Typical jargon words are sometimes used during practical lessons. These are not always easy to understand for non-native speakers. Mizou’s chatbot can be of help to those students.
A colleague who teaches Dutch in the first grade noticed that young people have a lot of difficulties with the correct sentence structure and the correct use of punctuation marks and capital letters. To help them, a Mizou chatbot was created that helps students write correct sentences.
